The separatist movement has exploded into a national political fight, with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith confirming she would allow a separation referendum in Alberta in 2026 – if enough signatures are collected. 

But it’s not just Alberta – new polls indicate that strong support for separation from Canada now stretches across Saskatchewan, and even into rural Manitoba and BC.
